I just got a new guitar and i have no idea how to play it! I heard that alot of people have learned how to play from a site on the internet. I'm almost completely broke after buying this guitar, so if theres any cool sites let me know!

Tabs are super easy to read, and they are free online. Just do a yahoo search for guitar tabs. Most have adware so I'm not gonna give you a site in particular, but there are a lot.

To read the guitar tabs you will look at your guitar as if it were the lines on the page. The only exception is that the bottom line is the top string you are looking at. They do this because the top string is actually the highest (in pitch) string. Then you just count the frets (in between the bars on the neck of your guitar) and press your finger down where the tab tells you.

Start with songs you know. It's great fun. Good luck!

Cool, my first 2 guitars were warlocks, I liked them a lot, and they're a great value. A site I go to is http://www.ibreathemusic.com/ The articles are really good, and the forums are pretty active.

Start here: http://guitar.about.com/library/blhowtoreadtab.htm

Then go to IBreatheMusic and start rocking!

Try checking out http://www.actoguitar.com they have free video lessons for beginners, offered in a structured format where you can ask questions and get answers as well. I'm assuming by your screen name you're a green day fan, there is some good green day stuff there as well.
