It sounds like you are really concerned about this. You've posted this question a few times. I'm not a doctor and I know little about baby's internal growth rates, but unless your doctor told you it was something to worry about (as opposed to just commenting on it), I would relax about it. Every child grows differently. As long as your pregnancy to this point has been low risk and everything is going along schedule (and yes it is totally normal for baby movements to slow down around this point, baby has much less room in the womb to move around) try to relax about it - you will do your baby best by relaxing. Your baby gets the same stress hormones running through his/her body as you do when you are stressed.

A mother I work with had that same situation. The ultrasound showed her fetus' kidneys bigger than normal, but the baby turned out to be perfectly fine. Don't worry too much; keep in communication with your doctor/midwife and take care of yourself as well as you can. Congratulations and good luck!

What did the doctor say??? We are talking about the baby you are carrying and you are asking perfect strangers on yahoo what suppose to be what. You need to take your behind to a doctor and ask him all the questions you may have or maybe even get a second opinion if you are not quite certain with the response from the first doctor.

Good Luck and God Bless your child...

Hey, I am 30 weeks pregnant, too! No, I have never heard of a baby's organs growing too fast. Did a doctor tell you this? And were they concerned?

If that were a problem, your doctor would be concerned. Your baby's probably a little further along than you think. Doctor's can only estimate your pregnancy schedule by the size of your baby but all babies develop differently.

Yes, this is possible. Have your doctor explain what the possible causes are and what to expect once the baby is born. Don't miss any appointments and have all the tests recommended. This will better prepare you to do all you can for your baby.
