He was pissed out at me and everybody in the house My kids and my sister and her kids stayed with my we had a placed together. My sister had a boyfriend and her bestfriend would come over with her boyfriend so we had traffic and my friend would come and visit me too. So days went by and he was talking to me but it wasnt the same like it use to be we use to do everything together and see each other everyday but that stop and that hurts cause I didnt have anything to do with that and I told him that I would pay him back. it was to the point he told me to leave him alone so I did but he call me back five days later and he r still talking now only when he need me cuz I givivng him his space and Im not calling hin hes calling he I do text some days just to tell him that I miss him.So I paid him back now we still talk but its slow motion

It just hurt your friend that you lost his money, but not to worry with time the wound will heal. he'll realized he overreacted and come back to you. just don't give up on him yet.

You are confused over what?
Let me see if I have this straight: Your first line makes the apparent case. A friend gave you some cash to hold on for him, right? So:
He asked you, you accepted the responsibility
therefore, all of the rest doesn't matter. Give him his money back.
I wouldn't want a friend that I couldn't trust either. If I can't trust you with my money why would I trust you with anything else?

trust is the best foundation of friendship, if he cannot offer it to you because of what happened maybe it's high time for you to think twice that not everything works the way we plan it.
If you tried your BEST and I mean best to reconstruct great friendship and he is still distant and cold then I guess it will not work.
Time heals all wounds, but don't push to hard SOMETIMES it will not work.

Well if you really want to get this friendship back, try to apologize to him for what has happened.Try also to explain what had happened. Also it was your responsibility to hold it for him that's why he was mad. Now he feels that he can't rely on you for a favor. So try to apologize and repay him the money that you apparently was holding for him.

Pay Back????? that is NOT friendship, it sounds more like a poker game. Review your life. Rethink what you want your children to learn and live.

If he were a "True Friend" he would have taken your word for it and never accepted the money...

you need to try decaf. You are too stressed.
Seriously, if your friend doesn't believe you, how strong is the friendship?
