I've tried everything I can think of to stop it. I have various pop-up blockers and virus checks that I've disabled or deleted. I've unplugged my internet connection from the back of the computer. I've even tried running other screensavers, but still after exactly 15 minutes the screensaver stops and there's nothing on my desktop. No pop-ups, no updates for me to dowload, nothing. It started about a month ago or so and I haven't done anything different to my computer as far as I know. I do 2 virus checks every week so I'm clean there. It's not so much that it's a big deal, it doesn't keep me from doing anything on my computer that I need to, but it's just annoying because I've had this computer a full 6 months before this ever happened. Any help would be great. Thanks.

It sounds like there is a service running int he background that may be causing the problem. To see if this has anything to do with it, try this:
Start-->Run--> in the Run dialog box type msconfig. On the general tab, select Selective Startup, and then UNcheck the Load Startup items. Click Apply and then OK. When ased to reboot your system select you want to restart now. Then log back into windows and see if your screensaver will stay on after the 15 minutes.
If your screen saver is still stopping, all you need to do is go back into the msconfig and check Normal Startup.

IF, after 15 minutes your screen saver is still running, to find out which process is the culprit, go back into msconfig, click on the startup tab,. and then one by one turn the startup items on, reboot, wait the 15 minutes... (Or to save time reduce the screensaver to 1 minute and see if its interrupted) When your screen saver gets interrupted again, you will know which service is the culprit.

Go to control panel and check your power saver settings. It might be set to have the monitor turn off after 15 minutes of no activity.
