I recently wore a solid red swimsuit at the beach and was made fun of by looking too "baywatch". I have seen many guys wear longer swimsuits...like "board shorts" or something with funny swirly designs all over....is that cool now or what?? Please help with the what type of swimsuit to buy and the best place to buy them.....oh, and if it should have netting or not....THANKS!

To hell with Board shorts. Everyone wears those. If you have a descent body, show it off. Buy a brief style speedo. Not the bikini style. I bought one to wear under my wetsuit while scuba diving and they're so comfortable. I picked one up at Sports Authority. Don't listen to the people that tell you not to wear them. They're probably jealous because they don't have the body to wear one. Wear what you're comfortable with. I'm married and I don't care what people think. The only thing that matters is that my wife thinks it's sexy on me and I like wearing it. Confidence is more of a turn-on than the freaking shorts. First, you have to feel good about yourself before you can sport around in a swimsuit that shows your stuff. I would suggest that you're body is fit and in shape. Otherwise, you may be stuck wearing the standard fat-body surfing shorts like 95% of Americans wear.

when i first met my sweetie he had these light blue shorts that just looked... too pastel for a guy to wear and he got some snickers behind his back. I'd have to say that your best bet is some type of design beacuse solid colors (unless basic black) don't seem to be the way to go. Develop your own sense of style and don't wait for others to tell you what they think is cool.

get ones that go a little past the knees and without netting. Netting gets sand and stuff stuck right up against you and holds it there making a very uncomfortable experience. I would say get spmething that you dont see often. Nowadays the walking billboard look is in lol.

I like a guy in a tiny tight swimsuit if he does not have a lot of hair all over his body... like my boyfriend. He wears boardshorts because he does not want people to think he is gay, but I love him in his tight speedos.

Speedos are always impressive- especially packed with a zucchini squash to add to the effect.
I get lots of looks with it!

Shorts, but check the large of them because sometimes, them make you look less tall.
