I have a honda 98 which has a matanance light well the light is now red and im not sure if i need a tune up or what? I just bought the car so im not sure.

probably a oil change you can turn off the light on the speedometer insturment panel there is a small hole that looks like a set of teeth...use a ball point pen and move teeth downward
and the light will go off! check oil ,if you can see clearly thru to the add fill line your oil will be fine for at least 1500 miles.

light comes on at 9000 miles for oil change oil change shop is supposed to reset light

lube it up. Oil Change. if that won't fix it try plugs and wires. but the oil change will more than likely do the trick.
