you can find the solus greatsword in the store in bowerstone nort or south. The store is in the same area as Lady Grey.

it is a really cool game, but the only answer i have for you is to find the frying pan, you need to find all the treasure clues. i have never done it, so i dont know where it is. i found those tattoos, but i dont remember where they were.
