Sex is a serious thing. In a trusting relationship, it can be a source of intimacy that you can share with that special person. When people have sex with anyone and everyone they are not only harming their bodies (with the possibility of diseases) they are harming their mental ability to become involved/intimate/exclusive later in life when they are ready to settle down and get married/have children. How stupid would you feel if you got an STD at 16 and had to live with that forever- and some of them can cause infertility. Is that worth the risk for a night of fun? When people use sex to intimidate or cause emotional harm to people it can have lifelong consequences. Many rapes are perpetrated by a person the victim knows. Sex is a serious thing. If you are in a committed relationship (not even necessarily married) it can be great. What I aways considered was this- "If I accidentally got pregnant by this man, would I want to communicate with him for the next 18 years or so for the best interests of this child?" It can go both ways- guys should think of whether they want to deal with this girl forever too. Think it though before you do it.

It's serious in the sense that at least two major things *can* happen as a result of sex without the proper preparations: pregnancy and the transmission of disease. Also, not everyone has the same attitude towards sex: what is fun & entertaining to some may be serious & emotional to others. And then there's the religious debates about sex, as I'm sure you know.
IMHO, it's important to seriously communicate with your partner(s) so that these factors don't become serious issues later. Try to be on the same page, whatever that page is. A little preparation is better than a lot of issues later.

yes sex is 1-because when u have sex with anyone the spirit of that person enters u if u are a female the spirit of the man enter u and the same in reversed that why it's so hard on person when there is a break in the relationship because the spirit of that person is still in u, when u see them with someone else ur jealious or feel alittle uncomfortable when u see them especially if the two person involved is spiritually connected. when it's only lust or fasicanation u get over much easier but the first hurts deeply. lust causes u to get very made and hurt but u eventually get over fast and in time, spirit fill love is true love and is harder to get over because the love still remain and only god thru jesus christ is only able to help u 4 sure, because his love never leaves

Hello! Yes, sex is very, very serious. Sex should be kept in the confines of marriage: And, marriage only! Think about this: If everyone would have kept sex for their marriage, there wouldn't be unwanted pregnancies, the spread of veneral disease, aids, etc. The conclusion is that marriage protects you and sex is safe when kept within these confines. I hope I have been helpful.

Sex... Hmm. Serious... Hmm.
Yes and no. Sex is a natural part of a loving relationship between two people. It, in part, defines a relationship. When a person gives of him/herself freely with no boundries, no emotion, no ties to a relationship, that person is giving away a significant part of WHO he/she is - and getting nothing in return, except psychological feedback about his/her worth - and it isn't positive feedback.
Sex between two people who are respectful and loving, need not be serious - but should be fun, enjoyable, rewarding and affirming.

U should only have sex if that person means something to u. Don't have sex just to do it. Sex can be serious but, some ppl. just have sex to have it.

DEPENDS ON HOW YOU DEFINE SEX. AS A WAY TO REPRODUCE, THEN I GUESS NOT AS FAR AS AN EMOTIONAL ASPECT. BUT IF FOR LOVE THEN IT IS THE MOST DESIREABLE WAY TO SHOW ONES LOVE TO ANOTHER PERSON!
THE MOST SERIOUS PART OF SEX WOULD BE THE POSSIBLE CONSIQUENCES THAT OTHER PEOPLE OVER LOOK FOR THOSE MINUTES OR HOURS (LIKE MYSELF) OF PLEASURE.

Sex is sex. No matter if you do it once or twice a day. or if you do it everyday. Its sex. Just do it. Some people take it seriously when others don't.
