I'm sorry for his family. It is a horrible thing to lose a close family member and the things he did will hang over them for the rest of their lives. It seems like that would be a hard thing to handle. But if they can truly convince themselves that he did nothing wrong they will probably live happily ever after.

I've read a number of things praising him for being generous and a good friend. It seems like it would be easy to be generous with other people's money. He hurt a lot more people than he helped. And nothing that he gave to others really caused a strain on him or his bank account.

I don't feel sorry for him. He is beyond caring now. I also can't really believe that he made peace with himself before he died. At some level, hopefully, he had to know he did wrong even though he said otherwise. It would be interesting to know what went through his mind when he closed his eyes to sleep. Were there regrets and thoughts of the people that he hurt? Did he have to beat down and rationalize these thoughts away before he could sleep? Or, did he think about ideas and strategy he might have used to get away with it?

No..the man was crazy like a fox. If you think it is a coincidence that he died right after conviction, then you are naive.

The man somehow staged it to look like a natural event, but even if they can prove it wasn't, and that he killed himself, his family comes out a winner. (perhaps a family member took him out)

See if you die within 30 days of conviction, your conviction and any fines associated with it are set aside. So...since he died within that window, his conviction is nullified and his estate (family) gets to keep the $43 mil+ they were going to have to give the government in fines.

Talk about a very obvious display of "worth more dead than alive!"

He's being cremated. With no body to be seen, it's rather curious whether or not he died. He may be laying low in Argentina just waiting for his wife to join him.
