Here is what Wikipedia themselves say about pronounciation:
Wikipedia (IPA: /,wIkiː'piːdi.ə/, /,wiki-/ or /,wIkə-/) is an international Web-based free-content encyclopedia.

So really, both ways are correct and a third way.

I've never seen a formal, officially designated pronounciation given, but I usually wikypedia.

It's wiky as long as you are not saying wikee

Wiki is a better way to type it, and oddly enough it is also how you spell it.

Wikipedia is pronounced like "wicked" - that "e" sound is the same one. It's not the "uh" sound, or "y" sound.
