Who knows about it, and what is your opinion? It just seems like the state government in Texas is just dumping it on it's citizens and not even really listening to our feed back. This is a massive undertaking that will affect the majority of the state. It's a proposed 10-lane super highway that will start in Laredo, and go all the way up closely following I-35, and eventually looping around DFW and from what I've heard, will even be continued all the way to Canada. Do we really need this?

The wheels are already in motion. It will not stop and our voices will not be heard, no matter what.

This move only furthers our move towards a global economy. The huge businesses will make tons of money and our Real jobs will disappear.

I hope Rick Perry gets his butt kicked out of office this November. He is flag waving with a smile on his face, as Texas is being destroyed.

Well I live in North Dallas and I think it is a good idea. Here are the positives from a Dallas point of view. All commercial trucking that is not stopping in Dallas will not affect daily commuter traffic of those in the city who use 35, 635 , 75. Also since 35 and 75 run through the heart of downtown it will keep any hazmat trucks out of our major metropolitan area. I know people call it the super highway to Mexico but I think ultimately it will make interstate travel better and relieve congestion in major metro areas. that's just me.

It is the result of the NAFTA agreement; look it up on web; it will start at the Laredo Mexican border and make it way through Texas ultimately making its way into Canada; there will be sophisticated security measures between these open borders, etc, etc. .. it will amaze you. Bush is going out with a bang!

There is still time to voice your opinion by either writing letters or attending meetings.

Personally, I think this whole idea is stupid. Texas is such a huge place, this isn't being done for us citizens, it's being done as the first step towards something I don't even care to think about.
