A liberal is much worse.

Imagine it's pouring rain outside, and the roof is leaking.

The conservative will take it upon himself to go out to the shed, grab a ladder, and patch up the roof as best he can so the house doesn't get ruined.

While all the furniture and carpet are getting soaked, the liberal will prattle on about how they need to come to a consensus, perhaps do a thorough study of the problem, discuss alternatives, and create a new government body to fund and administer the program, keeping in mind that they may have to allow for continued degradation of the house until they can find 25% minority contractors to do part of the work.

I just read after I posted this that conservatives gut middle class are you high do you have an education? I am an Accountant and I do 550 tax returns a year. The tax cuts that you liberal idiots dont understand have helped the middle class like never before. Here is an economics lesson for you. Number 1 liberals raise taxes what does that do 1. it takes money out of your pocket which in turn takes money out of the economy which trickles down the line less money in the hand of the consumer means less products being purchased means less economic growth because the demand for products isnt high enough which means companies dont hire employees or lays off employees because there isnt enough work which means unemployment raises which makes unemployment rates rise on business which increases their cost of doing business which furthur excels the problem. Now cut taxes people have more money in their hands, and no these tax cuts arent for the rich your an idiot if you beilive that liberal rhetoric, they buy more increase production because demand rises companies hire more employees ........

Extremism of any kind is bad. I've always considered myself to be middle of the road, and until recently I always voted for the best candidate, regardless of party affiliations. In the past decade or two, Republicans have become more and more extreme while Democrats have become more moderate. I still don't call myself a liberal or a Democrat, but I'm anti-Republican because they've strayed much to far to the right.

One is not by nature better than the other.

What's worse is a Conservative or Liberal who can't use information to back their arguments and are only spouting party line that they heard on the news.

Worst of all are those that rely on insults of the other side to try to make themselves look better.

The best of both sides (and the middle) can agree to disagree and debate disagreements with respect, a sense of humor, and decent evidence to back their beliefs.

The worst are people who are so intent on using these bogus classifications to sway masses of people to like or dslike a candidate based on the label, rather than based on their positions. To say someone is converative (or libel) on "that issue" is valid. To say that person IS A liberal (or conservative) based on one issue is a crock of whooeey. Conservative is some one who wants to preserve the old things, old beliefs etc. When you look into past and dont make any progress in your thinking or belief as time passes...you are an idiot like conservatives...So conservatives are worse as they are against progress.

Liberal (or, as I prefer, leftist). The reason is simple, the first resort of leftists when they perceive an injustice or wrong is to go to government to resolve it - usually by limiting human activity. For a true conservative, we attempt to solve it by other means and only resort to government interference when we have exhausted all other options.

Both but i think a conservative is better due to the fact they think for the country as a whole more than for their party.
I think political partys are dumb. I think we as a country, think for the best things as a WHOLE country. We shouldnt split into political partys and just do what they think, do what the country would beneifit from it. It is just the truth. Like George Washington said, do not form polictial partys and split the country, think as a whole.

Conservatives are worse. Liberals believe in human progress, but conservatives have an unacknowledged strain of pessimism and misanthropy that prevent them from aspiring to make things better. They just want to protect what's THEIRS.
