No real offense meant and please don't take this as disrespect.

Have you considered the option of a PO box at the post office. Oh wait, if you live in an area where snow plows are an issue then maybe driving to the PO is as well?

Have you checked with the PO to see if mailboxes closer to the house are acceptable?

Have you contacted the city/county, about the problem,,,LOL,, Good luck with that one.

Finally,,,have you considered MOVING? I live in Central FL, and the first time I ever see a snow plow on my street. I'm bailing out and heading for the Equator.

Generally, the answer is to get it further from the road, where the plows don't go. Of course, then you will have to shovel it out.
