you may need a starter, the fusible link may have blown or it could be something as simple as a wire is loose or broken now if the motor turns over but don't fire you may need a fuel pump a coil pack the mega fuse which runs the computer may be blown or once again loose or broken wires

The problem could be a bad starter but first I would have the battery connections checked and then the battery it's self. A quick check is to turn the headlights on and watch them while someone turns the key to the start position. If the lights go out the problem is most likely the battery connections or the battery. This may save you some money rather than replacing the starter and finding out that it is jus loose battery cables.

Sounds like you need a new starter. About $200.00 parts and labor from an honest mechanic.

its most likely the solenoid on the starter thats giving you the trouble, if your handy you can take the whole starter to autozone and they will check it for you so you dont have to shell out oodles of cash for something thats not broken

could be several things. a bad starter, bad interlock switch in the tranny or on the clutch, bad starter relay, bad connecton in the start wiring, bad ignition switch, or even a frozen engine.
