What you are forgetting is just how much the Israeli people have suffered. They weren't even recognized as a nation until 1949, and for the last century they have had to fight four official "wars" -- not to mention endless other armed conflicts -- just to survive. The Palestinians are just one group in a long list of groups that have claimed sovereign ownership of land within the territorial limits of Israel, and if they had their way every last Israeli citizen would be killed just so they could have the land they claim belongs to them. It's not the Israelis that bring so many problems down on the U.S.; it's all the fanatical Arab sects that want the Israelis wiped off the face of the Earth that give us trouble. Don't the Israelis have a right to survive?

The Americans are not bad really, that particular point is wrong, the people are judge by the people in the government , the problem of Israel is not of today the majority of the well to do in America and holding America investment are Jews, most scientist are Jews and that is the only reason why America where really dieing for the Israel , the partial system of judging bring the hatred about the American people from all over the ARABS and the world entire, in fact the only way the problem can be solve is the way Bill Clinton has made it before leaving office, and bush thought war can solve everything , please note the simple solution to the issue is the government attitude change toward the Palestine , and care for the country as a sovereign state

There is no question that the Israelis have suffered, no one should refute that. We do support Israel for reasons of strategy in the Middle East. However, if there is a continuing struggle over land, government, etc. Why should anyone feel that they are entitled to live there? If you can't get along, then everyone move out! That area should be designated to absolutely no one. This will end the obligations of support to them and end the outlook of the Palestinians that we are supporting a cause they feel is wrong. If peace and democracy are essential to the success of this area then, we should lead by example not side with one or the other.

First answer Presidential Promise : If an American President makes a promise then the American Government makes sure that the promise is kept. When the treaty after WWII was signed and the Three Great powers left standing in the end divided up what was left of Europe (England,Russia,America) it was decided that the Jewish people had been so badly treated during the Holocaust that they should be given a country of their own and it should be in biblical Israel. Of course the people who were living there at the time the Palestine's were not all that happy with the decision thus starting the war and fighting that is still being fought today. The president at the time of the promise to always stand beside Israel was Harry S. Truman. Oh yea Class dismissed.

Actually, nobody has suffered nearly as much as the Israelis and the Jews. The way Palestinians by and large are treated in Israel is by far the best treatment that any monority group gets anywhere in the Middle East. Unfortunately, neither the American people nor the U.S. government really DOES support Israel. Those anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, antisemitic scumbuckets over in countries like Iran will most-likely succeed in finishing off the "Final Solution" that the German Nazis began approximately seventy years ago. Israel and the United States should stand together.

To be complete, this would be a really long and complicated answer, but I'll try to make it short:
It's not just the United States, but most of Europe as well, that have historically supported Israel. The reason?:
The United Nations was behind giving Israel back a chunk of it's homeland, following WWII.
It was fairly obvious that Europe (especially Germany) had not exactly been hospitable to the Jews, so this was a terrific way to give back a nations stolen homeland, and rid Europe of having to deal with what they saw as "those pesky Jews".
So now, people like you continue to engage in anti-semitism, only it's excusable now, under the guise of "they're mean to the Palestinians".
Well, who started this latest incident? Every act of aggression on the part of the Palestinians, is always considered "self defense", even when it's completely unprovoked, like this recent kidnapping and murder of two Israeli soldiers.
I'm tired of always hearing people ignore ALL acts of agression from the Palestinians, then only react in anger when Israel does something about it.
All the Palestinians would have to do to stop the violence , is to hand back this one soldier, but they refuse, and people like you blame Israel. Any other nation would do the same thing. How would your government react if some particular group of people kept blowing up teenagers, old men & women and babies in restaurants and cafe's all the time? Be nicer to them? I think not.
The Palestinians have launched over 700 rocket attacks from Gaza since Israel gave it back to them last year, proving that the Israelies were right; "if we give back Gaza, the Palestinians will use it to continue to attack us"
As far as your logic that if it bothers other nations, we shouldn't be involved, then I guess we should have stayed out of WWI and WWII, not to mention every other time we've had to go bail out other countries from bad guys.

Thanks a lot for asking this vital question. 2 words: The Jewish Lobby is the most powerful one in the US. Israel claims being the eyes and ears of the US in the middle east, while they will be ready to nuke the US if they interfere in their plans. Israel has no loyalty beside to itself. Arabs and Muslims love the US and the american people, despite what the news show (of course, they are controlled by jewish executives). The COngress and many representatives MUST agree with jewsih lobbyist in providing support to Israel in order to win their seats...OR total disaster..it is a sort of blackmail. BUT still, given all the human violations ISrael is doing to the Palestinian people, America should reconsider its position...Arab and Muslim tax money, who are born, raised, working and enjoying the US is used to kill our brothers and sisters in the middle East...
Let say that Israel is the biggest con artist on earth.

The bible was written by a bunch of jewish guys....but
The bible says that the Jews are Gods chosen people and that God's prophecy will be fulfilled through them.
Therefore prophecy can't be fulfillled if we allow them to be killed off.
The bible also promises bad things to happen to people who oppose his chosen people.
Most of white Americans and Europeans are some form of christian religion that believes in what the bible has to say, therefore we will never oppose them.
We have enough problems without pissing God off too.
The atrocities that happened to the Jewish people are even newer than the atrocities that happened to blacks during slavery and were much worse with the medical experiments and gassing and whatnot. Jews have also been slaves like black people were too. We really couldn't in good conscience cause them more hardship than they have already endured especially since they are surrounded by people who hate and attack them and try to take what little they do have.
The middle East being Anti-Jewish is just stupid and shows the lack of education that must be pervasive there.
Biblical history shows these people are brothers going back to the days of Abraham, would you really want to kill your own brother?
Seeing as the US was brother against brother in the Civil War I guess we are really no better ourselves.
I wish humans could learn to be something other than a blight on the planet.

Face up to it you fools. We are merely human beings. Not too far into the future 'we' will be vapourised and turned back into stardust. The human race will have made NO impression on the universe. Accept this fact, look after your friends, family and fellow humans and at least you will have died with some satisfaction. Sorry mates but that's really it, wether you are the one who invented the wheel, democracy, the A bomb or global warming. In real terms it all means nothing.
