I just had my daughter June 22nd, 3 weeks lately the bleeding has calmed down to spotting. My husband and I had sex last night for the first time. We didn't use a condom and he pulled out. I know how dumb can we be. I need to know if I could get pregnant from that. I's been 3 weeks since I've had her, and I don't believe that I've even fully healed yet. But is it still possible?!?!?!? Please Someone I'm in need of some serious answers!

Yes, it is possible to get pregnant that soon after having a baby if you did not use protection. I happen to know someone that did. You should not be having sex that soon after a baby anyways did your Dr not advise you to NOT have sex for 6 weeks or did you just ignore that part.

It's possible, but not probable. There is a reason why doctors tell you to wait 6 weeks after giving birth to have sex. You do need time to heal after. If you are still spotting, then chances are that it won't happen. Your hormones haven't had time to get back to normal, but weirder things have happened. I wouldn't worry too much, but just be careful and talk to your doctor about it.

Oh forgot to add that breastfeeding isn't a good form of birthcontrol, but nothing is 100% except for abstinence. I got pregnant with my second daughter when I was breastfeeding and on the minipill, so anything is possible.

You have not fully healed. And Make him wack it until you have. If you are breast feeding then you are probably not pregnant. breast feeding is not a birth control but it can stop ovulation. And I would say that three weeks after a delivering then you may not have ovulated yet. And if you feel that you cannot wait the last three weeks of your postpartum to have intercourse again then get some condoms and use them. And I want to tell you that I didn't wait the whole 6 weeks before having sex after I had my son and I had to have my uterus tacked back up and I had a horrible infection that landed me in the hospital. I missed the 4th and 5th week of my sons life. He was with my mother and I was trying to stay alive in a cold hospital room.

What are you doing!!!!!? There is always a possibility you can get pregnant again that soon and yes that easily!!!!! With a three week old baby, you gotta be one strong lady or nuts! I cannot even imagine that. How will you feel if you are? Isn't the baby you have now, up, crying, taking away your sleep? Adding another one is a wonderful blessing, but why would you want to take a chance right now before you have even healed????

You have like a 42% chance of getting pregnant within either the first 6 months or the first year. So you could be pg. But if he pulled out, its not as likely as if he came inside you. Of course, there is still spermies in the preejaculation. I would wait a few more weeks, and then take a test if you think you are still pg.

It is definitely possible to get pregnant after 3 weeks. See your doctor and in the meantime stop having sex until you fully healed. You are made of skin and bone not rubber. Take care of yourself.

You are more fertile after having a child. The pull out method does not work, I have a son to prove that one. I knew a woman who went to her six week check up and she was already pregnant again. You should have waited the six weeks to have sex. Good luck.

I've heard that if you are breastfeeding, you won't get pregnant for a few months after giving birth. However, several women have gotten pregnant a month or so after giving birth, so I'm doubting that's actually the case.

I'd say it's possible - why don't you go get a stick test, if you're really worried? Or a blood test, if you're REALLY worried?

HAHA Your right that was dumb but I'm not making fun of you I know how scared you must be. Youare actually extremely fertile right after you have a baby so it is very likely. Next time use protection cause it is not smart if you don't want to get pregnant agian.

If you are still bleeding from having your daughter that might help to not get pregnant but you could still get pregnant this early. Do you want another child this soon. Sometimes having them this close makes it easier. Good luck.
