It takes practice and more practice. If you want to draw noses, then draw noses. Find out what you do know and build on that. My personal difficulty has always been hands, but I'm still working at it and getting closer to being satisfied. The best way to start out is to trace some in a book (Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain is an excellent resource). Then get creative with different shapes and shading. The key to drawing anything is to draw what you see. Not what you think you see. To be a great abstract artist does not mean that one fails as a realism artist. If you look at Picasso's or Mondrian's earlier efforts, you will see that they were both very disciplined students of the classics. Keep trying~

I was researching the camera obscura and came across the "camera lucida" which seems like a very good way to engage in drawing, albeit with training wheels. You are basically tracing what you see through an optical lens that allows you to see via an angled mirror what is in front of you while at the same time you are looking down onto your paper.

Unfortunately this is usually kinda expensive, so unless someone has posted an instructables tutorial or something on how to make one, this probably won't help you much.
Picasso used to trace drawings from photographs as a child, and I think that is not a bad way to learn either.

In art class before we would draw a portrait we were instructed on drawing 5 noses, 5 eyes, 5 mouths, 5 ears, etc. It's a great pactice to study the different shapes that create the image of what you're trying to achieve. you'll notice the differences in the little things that make a difference. Good luck

Basically just practice. I've been drawing for over ten years and I'm still not as good as I want to be. Tracing isn't going to help as much as free hand. If you need to draw from references or real life but just draw what you like and with time your skill will improve. If you strive to do better you will!

you have to practice and practice. I remember when I first began drawing I thought everything I did was beautiful but I soon realized it was junk once I took art in my freshman year of high school. I learned that I have to learn proportions and that you have to look at things as shades of color. You have to locate the darkest shade and the lightest and the nose is no longer a nose. But shades of color. When you draw a nose e it can be difficult at first because you have to keep it proportioned with the eyes and mouth.

just draw the basic shapes of the subject.. and try not to get to the details... then after the shape is right, thenconcentrate on the details such as the features, textures, and then the lighting and shadows to render it... good luck..

Practice, practice. Use your eyes, look at many noses, they are all different. Learn the curves and shadows. No Artist ever sucks!!! What you put on your paper or canvas is who you are, your artwork is YOUR interpretation of what you see. Try everything!!! Pastels, oils, pencil, mud, gummie bears, there are no boundaries. Create, that's all you have to concentrate on. are you impressed with Picasso or Michelangelo, Warhol, or Salvador Dali? don't follow them, follow your heart.

anyone is able to draw anything if they believe they can do it. what i do is, whatever you're trying to draw is you make it into different shapes. but whatever works for you best, i'm not one to judge. ^_^

concentrate on them as lines in space. my art teacher always tells me that. it is not a nose, they are just lines that are curved, swirly, whatever. hop that helps
