But its still showing that i have a strong network. wat you think could be the problem?

unless you were riding on someone else's linksys and they put a lock on it?

If it's yours, then check the connection settings, and verify that you have the right ip address. reseting the router, pc will help too.

If you can connect to the router and see its admin page then you might have a problem with your internet connection, power cycling your routers.

If you cannot connect to the wireless router at all then the network you are trying to use may be blocking your MAC address or using some sort of encryption. If this is your own network check the router and make sure you are using the correct settings for MAC filtering and or encryption. You might also want to flush/reset the DHCP, if all else fails post more information about your particular setup.

try your modem. the router might still be sending out a signal (usually stronger than before) even though it does not have an established internet connection with the modem.

You can connect to your router, the router doesnt have an internet connection.
