The President is primarily charged with defending this country from its enemies. If he were to fail in this job, everybody's life would be affected. Do you remember September 11, 2001? That day came about because Bill Clinton sat on his hands for eight years while Islamic terrorists bombed various American interests around the world. The terrorists bombed and murdered while Clinton did nothing. The terrorists got the idea that they could attack us and we'd do nothing. Then they perpetrated the World Trade Center and Pentagon bombings. What they didn't count on was that George Bush would come after them. If he had not, I have no doubts we would have been attacked again.

To put an end to a bully, you come back at him. If you don't, you will continue to be bullied. It's that simple.

It is much easier to enjoy life if you feel safe and secure in your home country. Under George Bush, we can do that because we are taking the war to those who would kill us because simply we are American. I think that's much better than being on the receiving end of a war the terrorists bring to us, don't you?

The President of the United States doesn't have nearly as much power as Congress does. We should be much more concerned with the criminal, moral, and ethical debacles of our senators and representatives than with the President.

P.S.: BeachBum, go back to the beach where you belong -- you're obviously spitting out the typical bilge that some liberal taught you, and you sure as heck don't have the first clue about economics.

I really don't believe a clear-cut party affects my ability to enjoy life.

Although, lower taxes, less government restrictions, and common sense of the law do positively impact life.

I think so. I'm a republican, so if a democrat is in the office, it definantly affects me. Our goveror ( a democrat), tried to veto a bill for conceal and carry, and they overuled her. Being that I was for it, It was good!

every action has consequences. There is a big difference in how democrats and republicans think. But, I do not think it should stop anyone from enjoying ife.

Oh God yes!

Republican in office = loss of our job security, feelings of powerlessness over big corporation's power and loss of faith in humanity

Democrat in office = booming economy, increased level of hope for my future, and faith in humanity restored
