The spaces were designed so you can get your kid out of a car seat or to be able to get a push chair out without damaging the car next to you.

because they are inconsiderate lazy gits. bloody annoying too, especially when it is raining. and whats more they know they are being this way and when you confront them they make out that is all ok and why should they have to park somewhere else. Answer to that one, you will find out when i park next to you again in a regular spot and i need to get the baby out of the car.

I parked there before but I ain't got no kids yet but i have my nephew in the car and he's 12. Now when I go back I will park there again because I think it's stupid as he's a kid but I don't need a special space. I will be having a kid in December and even if I don't have the child with me I will park there as I will have a kid but just not there at that present time.
In a way sometimes i think they may need these special BIG parking spaces but they should change the pic to a woman with a baby as they can't park too well. Fellas are ok though :-)

These are extremely selfish and lazy people.
I have 3 small kids and usually have to park quite far from the entrance, have little space to get them in/out the car and then have to negotiate a busy car park with them all without accidents.
It makes me really mad to see single adults parking in the parent and child space while I struggle!

Another point - some people seem to think that if they have a child of any age, eg 15, they can park there - this is not the case, they are usually called 'parent and toddler' spaces.
In addition, if your child is at nursery/grandmas/friends house, you can't park there either just because you have a car seat in the back!

Our community food market Tesco has huge indicators up declaring that a £70 value ticket will be issued in case you park the position you may want to not. we've a 5 month old toddler and that i once had a lot complication getting him into his baby seat because of autos parking so close to to the facet of our vehicle that I bumped his head with a view to tutor the different motive force a lesson I pushed our vehicle door problematic into the different vehicle causing a dent. we are able to not in any respect get an section interior the ascertain and baby areas because of prats like you who park there without a let. So I propose that in case you cant get a disabled area you ought to attend till one turns into accessible, oh or maybe as your waiting why do not you document each and each and every of the drivers who misuse their incapacity badges to the ideal authority's.

Tell me why you think because you chose to have children, that you deserve a "special"place to park. Its not like you are handicapped and really need a special parking space. I think those parking places that are designated for parents with children are totally unnecessary and biased. Same for the expectant mothers parking places, getting pregnant was your choice besides walking is good for you when you are pregnant Pregnancy is a condition not an illness.

Hiya Kelly, Because they're too bleeding lazy to park further away and obviously dont know what its like to struggle up three flights of stairs in the multi storey car park with two kids and 6 bags of shopping.

Because they're selfish. Same reason people back in the disabled spaces. I don't think the supermarkets can legally enforce who can and can't park in the spaces. Lots of people are generally very selfish these days so care only about themselves.

The same reason people pull up and park in a fire lane or spend 20 minutes looking for a "close" parking spot when they are running inside for only a few seconds....it is a condition called laziness.

Because I have as much right to park near the door as everyone else... except for disabled or elderly zones obviously. I draw the line there. Kids should be forced to walk to stop them from getting obese.

They have parent and child spaces? What a nice store. I think those people who park in the spaces are just inherently selfish. I'd give a cart to each of your children and have them all push them past their cars...bing, chip, pop...ooops!
