I'm kind of disappointed that something like "darts" has it's own catagory but a big sport like track doesn't even have it's own when there is so much involved (pole vault, jumping, sprints, long distance, and throwing). Am I missing something?

I'd also like to add that I'm sure a lot of people would ask questions, comparing times and what not. I would also like hurdle and high jumping tips, and im pretty sad that such a big part of my life isnt even considered a "sport" to yahoo questions :P

Even more disappointing that darts does and track doesn't is the fact that curling does and track doesn't! After all track has only been an olympic sport for a couple thousand years!

I have tries to get RUNNING going as a category by emailing yahoo and posting RUNNING questions and answering running questions as often as I can.
I get a fair amount of replies that running is a hobby!! I would gladly setlle for track and field, but for now I just title all my running questions "RUNNING" here in other sports.
maybe you could do the same.

If you do a search for running related questions you will find that they out number the questions in many other categories. I wrote and asked for a "running" category to be added to no avail. Maybe if more of us write and ask for it...

Cause most people don't care about track past high school. I was in track in Middle and High school, but after that, whooopty Doo!
