I know China and Russia have said they wouldn't support them but I still think they are a good idea. The UN hopefully can resolve the issue without anyone having to try military actions. I am in support of sanctions because then maybe we could settle our issues diplomatically. Japan is furious, even more than the US so we would have a good ally and most of the rest of the world isn't too thrilled either.

Something has to be done to cool this situation. I say Shame on China and Russia for perpetuating a very dangerous situation. Show your support, quit buying crap made in China.

You know, sanctions would be a great thing to do if N. Korea had not stated that imposing UN sanctions would be a declaration of war against them. In this instance Russia and China do have the right idea. We have to keep a level head while working with this country. We can only hope that they will come back to the six party table talks.

Those poor citizens in N. Korea!!!

1. I wish we as the UN could create a policy where immigration from N. Korea would be encouraged by S. Korea, and then the citizens of N. Korea could be located to surrounding countries. Kinda, evacuate the citizens so that this guy with the bombs can't harm them or use them in him imaginary war.

I know dream on Giggly Giraffe ... nobody want immigrants --- but if we spread the immigrants across neighbors, then it would be controled ... plus, their citizens worship this freak as a God --- so I doubt they'd want to leave this idiot.

2. TV has told me that this dude is addicted to all things "Hollywood" ... so I think we should find a way to block satellite to N. Korea so he can't enjoy. Plus, we should find ways to stop the internet ... which I bet he's using for communications and learning on how to make the missiles.

Sanctions won't do anything but make a bad situation worse. We shouldn't allow the N. Korean people to suffer for the actions of their loony dictator.
Just let him blow off some steam. He knows he's got nothing.

I am not!

NK should have the right to develop its defenses. If the USA can, NK can.

NK is probably not going to be foolish enough to bomb anyone soon. What a backlash that would amount to!
