Kaká is his nickname, not his surname. His real name is Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite.
Most of the Brazilian players have nicknames.
For example:
Ronaldinho's real name is Ronaldo de Assis Moreira
Pelé's real name is Edson Arantes Do Nascimento
Either way his name is unique, even if it sounds different to different people.

i think its an awesome name. plus...keep in mind it has the accent on the second 'a'...so its pronounced "kakA" with an emphasis on the end.
besides...people think kaka means crap, but its actually caca...and its a childish word. youre not going to hear an adult use "caca" in a sentence ever....unless theyre mentally challenged or just plain stupid.

It's actually a nickname given to him by his brother, though his real name isn't anything like Kaka.
The accent makes a big difference though. For example, in Spanish papA with an accent means dad while papa with no accent means potato..

It's a nickname for Ricardo, and actually it spells Kaká - with the accent, you see? - á á á... So it's not exactly the meaning of "stools"
