That depends on how the child support order was written. Usually, it ends when the child turns 18 or when he completes high school, HOWEVER, your order may have a different limit. If you no longer have a copy of that order (which may be included in the parening plan or decree of dissolution- not sure how Texas does that), you can get a copy at the courthouse where your divorce was done. If you have paid past the date you were supposed to have paid, you may have to ask the mother for a refund or sue her for it, in family court.

Usually child support stops at age 18 or as long as they're in school. That's how it is in Texas

At 18 you become legal therefore child support ends.

18, call your child support divison and they can have it stopped and reimburse you for any over payment. Good luck.
