I know too many people with many of these types of experiences, including me. Driving while White, Black, Mexican, and even driving with one of these races in the vehicle can get you pulled over. (Because they HOPE you're doing something illegal. But they tell you, you look suspicious!) Getting unjustly pulled over because your race, and detained ALL depends on:

1. The Dedicated area you're driving in (known white, area, etc.)
2. The Police Dept's Racial Profile Ranking List (written or not)
3. The Race/tolerance/diversity training of the Police Officer
4. The Police Officer's need to fill their "quota"
5. The need for the Police Officer to trouble you out of his/her boredom.

Then, the cop looks at your race (or the race of someone in your car). Which now matters to THAT officer since 1 or more of the criteria are met (numbers 1-5). Bottom Line - I can smell it, can you? ---- stinks!

Well I am a very spiritual person who happens to be black, and i have determined that your fate with an officer has alot to do with specific numbers that are assigned to you like birthdate, address, DL number even license plate number. Many police officers are angels in disguise. They use very rudimentary principles for judgement. If you more than three 8's in any of those numbers it's a good chance u will get a ticket or go to jail. If you have an 11 (eleven) you will be detained for a long time while they try to dig up something on you. If you are wearing red, you get a ticket, if you are wearing white or black you can get out of it. If you have 37, in any of those numbers you will definitely walk away... if you have 38 you will definitely get a ticket or jail. If you are black with an 82 or 28 you definitel get a ticket or jail. 98 means never take to jail, 97 means look for something wrong. If you happen to get pulled over and the clock has any of these numbers, the cop will obey the clock.

So it has nothing to do with your blackness it's all in the numbers. God has framed your destiny using angels and numbers!!!

Though I am not black I have seen it happen MANY MANY times with friends and family members.

Sad and VERY true...

Another thing is shopping...we were actually talking about that last night. Me and a friend of mine (she is black)

We were talking about how they are treated differently in some stores. And I was sharing some of my experiences when I have been in "black" neighborhoods as a non-black person trying to shop or order food.

Not me, personally. But two of my sisters and my brothers have been caught driving while black. Unfortunately, at the time...it was not a good time.
I got caught driving while a North Dakota resident though...yeah, I know corny???
But he pulled us over, asked for the usual, and I'm like flipping out b/c I know he pulled us over for nothing. This was in Gaffney, SC. He talks to my husband and says why is she acting that way and my husband was like "I don't know"...
That was messed up...I had my little girl crying b/c she had to go pee and this white cop pulling us over and gettin Narc to talk to my hubby...

You see some times bad name is bad then bad person. In our case our colored few people have done bad things and give us also bad name that is the reason other people see us with strange eyes not only when we are driving even other occasions also,so it has nothing to do with law,it is the thinking ans impression what we have on others.
