Any possible and basic examples and answers for a job interview that's a intermediate or senior position in a company?

There are some really standard questions, but Monster has compiled a list of 100 (see website below).

Ones that almost every interviewer will ask:

Tell me about yourself.
What are your strengths?
What are your weaknesses?
Tell me about a time when you solved a problem.
Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Check out all of the questions on Monster and have answers prepared. Be honest in your answers, or you'll end up in a job that doesn't suit you and neither you nor the company will be happy.

Also, if this is an interview for a senior position, be prepared for strange questions that my not seem to be relevant. They may be testing your skills at thinking on your feet.

Good luck!

What are your strengths? - You can answer that one yourself.

What are your weaknesses - try public speaking..most people have that fear. Or try to minimize your weakness by saying you are working on it.

Tell me about yourself - Describe briefly your goals/objectives and more thoroughly your job history and qualifications.

Describe a difficult situation that involved a deadline - They want to test you on how you handle pressure. Just describe a situation when you had to work hard and meet some deadline.

If you had multiple projects, how would you approach it? - Again, they want to see how you prioritize and if you would ask others how important requests are. You also want to be clear that you would approach it in a orderly fashion since it might be a pressure situation.

If there was a this situation with a client who had these requirements....etc...etc.. - This is the dreaded case study question...You have to approach it very calmly and be sure to ask the interviewer questions. Answer it in a logical fashion even if you do not know the product that well. Make assumptions if it makes sense. I think case study questions are the most difficult of all interview questions. It is a somewhat common question type in consulting firms.

Make me want to buy this pen, pencil, or whatever - They want to see if you can think on your feet. Look carefully at the features of the item....and try to sell them the product using features that may be useful to them or the general public. This question may be used in marketing or sales type jobs.

There are several others..but I'm sure you can look those up. Good luck.

What do you know about our business?
Why do you want to work for our company?
What problems did you have at your former job?
Are you willing to work overtime if necessary?
We promote from within, how do you feel about that?
Here is a list of our benefits, how do you find them to be?
What are your downfalls?
Are you a team player?
Can you get work done unsupervised?
Why should we consider you for employment?

Be sure not to bad-mouth any former employers, as this turns companies off. Also be sure to give your two-week notice to your old job, as if you say "I can start immediately," the employer will feel that you will leave them without notice, as well.

Good luck to you!

Believe me, there are many. Make sure you're able to tell them convincingly your strong points and weak points without making yourself look like an egomaniac and a weakling. I was even asked, "If you were an animal, what kind of animal would you be?"

Make sure you are totally informed about what they do, even down to their stock letters on the market! Study them!

What is one of the most important things is your dress and how you present yourself. Dress 100% total professional, I wouldn't recommend business-casual AT ALL.

There are tons of books on this topic. Reading one of them is of the utmost importance.

Here we go:
-What distinguishes you from the others?
-What is your weakpoint?
-How do you relate this job to your career objectives?
-In your past experience, name one time you were faced to a very difficult situation and what did you do to solve it?

I recall these are the most common ones.

"How do you spell 'professional'?", perhaps? :)

Seriously, expect questions about what you did before (how many people and how much of a budget you managed and how successful you were at it) and about your preferred style of handling a particular situation. You may also be asked to talk about your greatest weakness or your biggest failure to date.
