I have used both. You can give positives of both as well. However, a better comparison would be Loreal to MaxFactor because Loreal is the mass consumer brand of Lancome and therefore cheaper. I have used MAC, Chanel, and you name it. I still go back to MaxFactor every time and no matter where you are you can walk in a drugstore and find your products. What looks best on you is what matters. People think I spend hundreds on cosmetics when in reality I buy it all at Target!

Hate to say but Max Factor is just as good as Lancome.....all make-up is probably the same. You PAY for the packaging and the real estate in the department store brands....Everyone has their favorite make-up brands for whatever reason...whether it is the color, the durability, the price. Mine is Loreal...up to the minute in fashion/color and sensibly priced. Loreal is a subsidiary of Lancome anyway. I worked for Lancome Paris/Loreal, that is how I know. It is really pure opinion and choice.

For make-up Maxfactor by all means,especially the pancake make-up it doesn't get greasy or run when your hot,looks natural and the shades are great,apply with a wet sponge,it's fantastic.
