I think it was "Invisible Sun", a song from the Police's Ghost In The Machine album about the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The BBC refused to play the video, and a lot of stations wouldn't play the song because of its content. Still, the single went to #2 in the UK.

Is this a recent song by Sting or an old one? He's always sung about political things..even back in the 80s, with his Russians song.
