germany would have beaten france since they were in much better shape and would have been disciplined enough not to give up a stupid penalty like that in the box and klose would be most able to score on barthez...
italy would have beaten portugal, but it would have been in 90 minutes. mmmmm, they would've looked so pretty playing against each other. yum.
and italy would still have won, though it would have been more heartbreaking for the hosts...

Italy would still be in the final definitely, they could surely beat Portugal. Not so sure about the Germany vs. France. I think that France would win though. Germany are good but France has the experience and their defence is superb!

i think france would have beaten germany because though germany has some really good individual players like klose, ballack, and podolski....they just dont seem to play together as a team as much. it seems that the germany players try to hard to score on their own to get the credit for doing so. france has zidane who is amazing at making plays and turned his team into one incredible force. rather than trying to make goals himself, he set up some great passes to help his teammates score...and think about it, france beat brasil, the supposedly best team in the world.
in terms of portugal and italy...i think italy would still have won because though portugal is a great team, they dont have the defensive power that italy has. i love portugal, but i think they would have had a really hard time getting past buffon. though ricardo is an amazing goalie for portugal, portugal's defense is not as strong which makes me think that italy may have had some chances to score.
overall, i still think it would have been italy vs france.

No! Germany would've beaten the crap out of France, Italy would've won, and then we'd have that nailbiting semifinal Ger/Ita game all over again, except this time as a final game. Though maybe Germany would win this time around because it's the final game and they KNOW that they're THAT much closer, and we all know how much the German team wanted that title!!

&

in final it will be
Germany against Italy
and Germany will win the cup 2-0

Spicaly vs Porkchopville would definitely be a good ticket to have. Geez, you'd get 45 mins of soccer then 36 mins of injury time another 45 mins and then another at least 30 mins more injury time. Talk about getting your moneys worth. If you don't mind a bunch of grown greaseballs, crying, kissing and falling all over the place for 3 hours.
