Confidence is very important when it comes to being attractive to the opposite sex, but confidence can only grow from a high self esteem.

First :Look for all the good things about yourself, & not just physical, contrary to popular belief there are ppl out there who want more than a pretty face & u should want more than that for yourself. eg if u have a nice smile, show it; if your good at swimming join the swim team or something.

Second, be honest with yourself, if ur overweight dont wear a bikini to the beach. Some of a girl's most embarrasing moments happen when she's trying to be something she isn't. And embarrasment does nothing for ur self esteem & confidence. And as for those flaws that we ALL have, try to fix them or take attention away from them. eg spots on ur legs? wear pants or high boots or something, overweight? exercise & DO NOT squeeze urself into clothes two sizes small, cuz if ur uncomfortable it usually shows & that's not attractive.

Start by accepting who you are, and having the confidence to step up to those facts.
Have a good and healthy relationship with YORUSELF first of all. If you cannot do that then you will never be able to have a healthy relationship with others.
Once you have self confidence, you then have the ability to vary your actions to the needs of the social setting.
If you are satisfied and confident in who you are, you are more able to consider others around you.
Be attentive to good manners in social settings.
Self confidence and good manners are NOT mutually exclusive.
Opening doors and holding them for others if you get there first -regardless of gender- is a kind and polite thing to do.
Use of expletives may be indicated in some circumstances, and not in others. Using the "But that is who I am line" is just an excuse for someone who lacks the self confidence to NOT be the center of attention- good or bad- at a gathering.
Likewise with personal hygiene. Mussed or messy hair is one thing, hair that smells and has not been washed for more than a week is another!

Being self confident is good, but you also have to look good outside by dolling up. Put some make-up but not too much or you will look like either a prostitute or low class. Buy the nicest clothes that you can afford then of course wear it. If you want more specific answers, please e-mail me a picture of you. I will give you more advise.

Being beautiful is about more than looks. It's about taking personal pride in your appearance, but also being genuine in your thoughts and actions. You need to think of others before yourself when you can, be polite to people, put them at ease, start conversations, be confident, and have high self-esteem. Know that you are priceless, and that anyone would be lucky to know you.

Exercise. Even if you don't need to lose weight. There's nothing more physically attractive in either sex than a general appearance of health, vitality, and physical fitness.

its ok to ask those kind of questions, its a sign of taking responsibility of onesself and maturation. a good way to look better is by going to a salon (A NICE salon, because being cheap on hair cuts is not the smart way to go, no MATTER WHAT) and ask for a hair cut that fits your face structure. explain your lifestyle to the stylist, so he/she gets a feel of how much time you are willing to spend on youre hair in the morning. next, ask if you think color would be suitable, if you feel it would create a greater vibrancy and bounce to your hair. next, many salons offer Makeup 101, but if not go to a highend makeup counter such as chanel if you want clean, lesst makeup but fresh look, but if you ant to know how to make yourself look sexy for a date, then DEF> go to MAC. as for a make up consultation. next, i recommend going to a spa, and then finally blowing money on tons of clothes and shoes. (remember try not to break the bank)

last but certainly no least, make sure you have confidence in yourself, beauty on the outside DOES NOT necassarily mean ugly on the inside, it could be that you are so beautiful inside and it now shows :)
good luck
