The ticket prices for his concerts are outrageous, yet he laments the plight of the poor. He goes on Oprah Winfrey and tells us that he doen't want our money, he just wants our government to send money to third-world countries (and the crowd cheered, which is another sad commentary on the intelligence of OW's audiences). Either he's the prototypical brain-damaged rock star or he's an inveterate liar.

Charging a lot for tickets doesn't make him a hypocrite. It's the going rate, after all. Look at it this way: He's selling tickets to people who have more than enough money and can afford to pay , and are willing to pay what he asks. I bet when he dies all the fortune he makes goes to causes he's working for now.

Yeah...I'm over the whole celebrity saving the world thing...it seems there is little money where the mouth is going on.
Bono has always been self righteous...and marginally talented at best..anyway.

You have to admit, he does a lot of charitable work. He dontated millions of dollars to several organizations.
You can't say the man is not giving back, but I can see what you mean!

he is just an idiot, i live pay check to pay check and still find ways to help those less fortunate, i can't imagine having millions and expecting others to give more, he should be ashamed of himself!
