I was going through my DVD collection and i took out about 65 of them that aren't approptiate for my son or that i don't watch anymore. i'm still left with about 90 DVDs. How many is too many?

It all depends on how many times you want to watch the dvd's. I have a pretty fair collection myself, thouh not as large as yours. I would recommend that you give the ones you are through with watching to friends or family or maybe sell them to a Blockbuster or Hollywood video store.

My husband has a problem - he brings home a couple of new dvds everyweek. I'm guessing that we have over a couple hundred of the damn things. We have run out of room to keep them. They have filled up two dvd cabinets, our kids' dvds are in the game room, some are in our bedroom, and the rest are stacked in piles behind the couch in our living room.

You can't say that you have too many; you can only say that you have few DVDs, because there are always new DVDs coming out. I have 121 DVDs only in movies. jajajajajajajaajaj
And you did good taking out the DVDs that aren't appropiate for your son.

That is a factor of your personality type. I personally do not think that you can have too many DVD's, but then again I do not have a child in the house. And I am a pack rat

I have a cabinet with five shelves each shelf holds 275 dvds. all the shelves are full and some are in boxes on the floor. That's alot of dvds.

You have too many DVDs when you could have used the money for something you really need.

My husband has close to 300. I think about 20 of them for our son would be enough. hey, just my opinion on the situation. He'll rewatch one at my urging once a year or so. Come on 15.00 a pop we could have retirement started!

Who's buying them. It doesn't seem financially responsible. If this is all that consumes his time and energy, then there may be a problem. If they come as gifts, and he is saving some of his money, then it may not be too bad.

I only have like 70 total.
Theres so many more DVDs i want and all because its so nice just to go get it out of your drawer when you feel like watching it.
