The radio advertised a free ipod. Is this for real?

I actually just bought one last night, so I was just at the Apple store. I think what you heard is the new deal Apple is offering to college students (and possibly others if they think they can get the sale, anything to make money you know!). Anyway, when I was in the store they were offering a deal that if you bought an iBook laptop at a certain price range you would get an iPod Nano for free. I'm not sure of the exact details because I wanted the 30GB not the 2 or 4GB Nano, however that was what their promotion outside the store front was advertising. You might hop on Apple's website to look at details! Hope this helps!

Sometimes

My friend did it once, well she went to where the radio station people said they were and there they were. She waited for 20 minutes and they drew her name out of a box and they gave her a green iPod mini.

No, if you look close they want you to purchase something with only a credit card. They will have your number and charge you for the ipod.

Wow, most of you are not open to new forms of legitmate freebie systems! It is even proven legit by major news networks like CNN and BBC, NBC, Fox 4 News, Wired.com, etc.. Read here for more info about how it REALLY works:
