I think you guys are on to something about the psoriasis ,I just wish his co-workers would understand and not make him feel bad and wanted to thank you for your good advice I also wnted to let that 1 perticular person who std I shld dump him know that will never happen, you are not promised beauty or looking a certain way the rest of your life you shld learn to love people and stay with them no matter what. In all honesty the same cld happen to anyone it is the soul that matters and truely the inside that counts everything else will fade in time but that person's soul stays the same and no matter what anyone looks like we all have feelings and deserve to be loved and respected no matter what,

My stepdad has this issue...it's kinda like dry skin....but it can range from just that all the way to eczema or psoriasis...does it itch? Try putting coconut oil all over the area where it happens...

Your boyfriend should go to see a dermatologist. Sounds to me like your boyfriend could possibly have psoriasis. Psoriasis is a skin condition that can affect any part of the skin. It can affect anyone of any gender age or ethnicity. The most common type of psoriasis is red raised patch on the skin with whitish/silvery scales on top of them. I have psoriasis. I have it on my scalp, eyebrows and other places on my skin. Psoriasis can never be completely cured. It can be treated though and go away, but it may reapper at any time. Mine has cleared up on my scalp with help

Honey bunny, it doesn't matter what your boryfriend's ancestory background is, skin conditions affect EVERYONE. My best recommendation is to take your boo to a dermatologist so that he or she can recommend the best course of action for his condition. Most african american men and other men of color cannot shave because of the hair will curl on the inside and leave nasty bumps(psuedofolliculitis barbae..hope I spelled that right, sugar!). Or he could be allergic to certain types of shampoos, soaps, fragrances, creams, and even foods! Remember, skin conditions know no color or racial barriers. Good luck to you, m'dear!

go to a dermatologist with him, you can get a referral from your GP if he doesnt know what the problem is, sounds like some form of psoriasis or eczema to me.
Could be allergic to something he comes into contact with

He needs to see a dermatologist. It may not have anything at all to do with his ethnicity. Likley they could prescribe some cream to make them go away since nothing you have tried has worked.
