a article in a magazine has a story about my deceased son that i did not give permission too,but his girlfriend did. which she is not family. his photo and all are included and it is lies. now i am getting calls about it. what should i do?

I would get a lawyer and sue the **** out of some ppl you might just own you a magazine

You can search the law in regards to defamation in your state. Then you will no more about your standing (position to sue). I would look up defamation of character to start and see where that leads you. There may be other options as well.

You will need some evidence of her lies...so be thinking about that also.

i would contact the magazine editor about it. If anything they can print your side of the story.
If they refuse to listen, I would contact a lawyer. It is your family they are talking about and since he is not here anymore to defend himself, you have to do it.
