I want to hear why you jerks think FOB is such a bad band! If you give me good detail, I'll give you the points!

I took my sister to their concert, every other band there sounded great. When it finally got to fall out boy, they sucked, they were the worst band there, and to make matters worse on top of that their attitude was lame. I think it was the bassist and he was just talking trash for the entire hour or whatever that they were on stage. Worst show I have ever seen.

I don't like them because they are annoying. They aren't that talented of musicians, but that's not why I don't like them. I just don't like that style. Also, I find it irritating that all these kids are running around saying they like punk rock bands like Fall Out Boy. They are NOT a punk band. They don't even look punk rock.
Also, I agree with Korn Issues. They sound horrible live. They did a live version of Sugar We're Going Down on KROQ last week, and it was absolutely terrible. First of all, the music didn't have the same energy that it has on the studio version, and the singer was way out of key. It really goes to show that they are a studio band. Not a good live band. The recording engineer probably had to touch up the vocals a lot in ProTools to get them in the same key with the instruments. Now if they would only do that with Gerard Way, the world would be a much better place.

The only reason people would hate FOB is if they didnt find the lead singers voice attractive, or didnt like the fact that they were extremely popular.

well, i dont have anything agianst them really, its just not my kind of music personally. but hey, if you like 'em, more power to you. i dont expect you to like what i eat, wear, listen to, or believe in, so why should my opinion matter to you?
but, here's my info... i'm a guitar instructor. once a kid has his chords and scales down i usually have them bring in some music so we can apply what he's learned to the music he likes, and i'm just kinda sick of kids bringing in most modern music. i'm only 23, so i dont think i'm "OLD" yet, but i'm just burnt out on certain bands. if i never hear blink 182, good charlotte, and simple plan again, i'm happy about it....btw, every good charlotte song follows the exact same chord structure... ugh... hell, i'm really sick of nirvana and a lot of the bands from 1990-1998 or so at this point too.....
i like stuff thats a little more challenging to play. stuff with guitar solos and more than just root-5th chords (the power chord). and it doesnt need to just be rock. i dig acoustic stuff, blues, classical. i can listen to clapton, slayer, and vivaldi all in an afternoon. but after teaching a few dozen kids how to play the same couple fallout boy songs, i'm kinda sick of it.
and just so you know, punk music is the misfits and the ramones and the sex pistols and a bunch of other bands that nobody ever heard of. this new batch (green day included) may have punk influences, but they're not punk. no matter how much it might make someone mad, modern punk is essentially pop music. its very formulaic and its marketed toward young rich white boys who's only real complaint in life is that they dont have anything to be mad at.

I like fall out boy. I love the song a little less sixteen candles. But no offense but i like Green Day Much Better

im not a jerk. I hate fans of dance dance and sugar were going down. Cause they arent fall otu boy fans they are radio freaks. Fall out boy has been around for years. i am disappointed that they went poppy. Their older stuff was better.

I don't hate FOB. I think they are one of the best groups ever! They are REALLY cool! If anyone hates FOB, they are CRAZY!
