I have a marble bath with all glass enclosures. Now with the soap scum and water spots, the normal soap and scrubbing action does not work anymore.
However most of the detergents say do not use on Marble?!! So how can I clean the glass without getting detergent on the marble? Or rather, is there a product out there that is safe to drip on marble? Btw, I have crema marfil, which is considered pretty porous and is beige in color.

Try this simple home solution: Mix liquid dishwashing detergent with warm water and use a sponge to clean your marble. Be sure to thoroughly rinse to remove all soap residue -- a buildup could damage the stone, according to the Marble Institute of America. Then buff dry with a soft cloth; never air-dry. Anything acidic -- like lemon, vinegar or bathroom cleansers -- can eat into marble. Hair dyes may also leave permanent stains. And the alcohol in aftershave lotions and perfumes can cause etching.

Shower curtain inside the glass door, saves a lot of cleaning. Use the shower curtain, and leave the door slid open, you'll have less to clean. You will have to wipe it all down with disinfectant, although you won't be scrubbing all day, and using two cleaners. Every so often disinfect the shower curtain inside all the way down, wipe down, rinse, and towel dry. Don't clean this much every week, unless you can afford a maid service.

I clean glass shower doors with bath oil. This works well. I don't know about the marble, but you could just put a towel down and make sure no oil runs off. Good luck.

I have water spots on the car windows because my husband washes down the car with the hose once in a while. Build up on windows has been driving me crazy until I found "CLR" at a hardware store. MARVELOUS! I put a little in water, used a rag and it just did a great job. Didn't want to drip on the car paint so this was a godsend. Try it.
