after suspecting my own "little miracle" has been concieved, i have searched on the net to find other stories of early pregnancy signs/symptoms. i think the most surprising stuff i've read that alot of women felt they were pregnant the day of ovulation or a couple of days after!is it really possible? i mean, factually, you shouldn't feel anything till AFTER you've concieved, which could be a week or two later. has anyone here experienced early symptoms or "just knew" they were pregnant well before testing positive? i myself felt sore breast and other symptoms (that i don't normally...have ovulation/pms or not) the week of ovulation and still have them (they've even gotten worse), so i'm thinking it could be after all, but what do y'all think?

well, iit is possible for your body to take note from your imagination and "feel" pregnant, although conception was never achieved, i know from experience, but this time is very different. my breast have never had any indications all those times.no soreness, tenderness, swelling...nothing! like i said, not even through pms or ovulation. this time, i have the breast thing going strong. it is four days before my expected period...i have been having cramps, like menustral cramps, which is normal for me too. but i think i'm gonna test soon.... thanks

Its possible to have something called a "hysterical pregnancy", which is when you want to be pregnant so badly, your mind creates the symptoms of it.

I do think it is possible to have certain symptoms the day after ovulation, but none of those would be noticeable. They might be a small change in core body temperature or something, and a change in your urinary fluid content or vaginal fluids, but again, sore breasts?
I hope you are pregnant, because you want to be, but please do realise that these "Symptoms" you listed are only in your head.
If youre not pregnant, try having sex every other day, as you ovulate for 3 days a month, so that will give you the best chances, and also have your significant other wear boxers, rather than briefs. It increases the sperm count.

Good Luck!

To tell you the truth, I knew I was pregnant the first time within a few days of conception.

It is important to remember that conception is not a moment, but a process. The fertilized egg has to do some travelling through the filopian tubes and implant itself in the uterus. While the egg is travelling, most women don't know they are pregnant.

Most women don't start to feel even slightly "different" until the end of the second week after conception when implantation completes and growth of the placenta begin.

That said, your body starts to produce pregnancy hormone that blood tests (not urine tests) can pick up within 36 hours of fertilization. Women who are sensitive to their own health, bodies and moods, may pick up on feeling "different" around the same time. That said, when my second child was conceived I was too busy with my first child and work to notice the slight changes that I knew were "different" right away the first time.

Good luck, but be patient and don't start spending money on "early response" pregnancy tests that "may" give you a positive reading as early as 4 days before your period starts. Almost every test kit contains the phrase "if you get a nagative result and your period does not begin, wait a few days and test again." It is a phrase that sells more pregnancy tests.

Early tests also pick up what's called "chemical pregnancies." That means that sperm and egg met, but that the egg for one reason or another didn't implant and the placenta development never began, so women get their normal periods despite having produced pregnancy hormone for up to 7 days. Technically, chemical pregnancies are not miscarriages, but because some women now know about them due to early response tests, they react as if they were and worry there is something wrong with them when it is a perfectly common event that happens to perfectly healthy women who may already have (or already have) perfectly healthy children.

Once your period is late, you can test at home or just go directly to the doctor for pregnancy confirmation. During that exam, you may also have an ultrasound to date the pregnancy and determine when you are due.

This book is a must read for any woman trying to get pregnant. I was devastated and so was my husband after being told by my fertility specialist at age 38 that I had no option but to consider adoption or donor eggs (according to my doctor I was out of eggs and gave me 4% chance of getting pregnant and a 2% chance of carrying a baby to full term). After much research and dozens of hours reading infertility related articles and posts online, I have found this book! I never believed in anything alternative to western medicine and thought all the other stuff like Chinese medicine was a hoax. But I was soon glad to be wrong as I followed step by step guidelines. After one month of trying I became pregnant and had a beautiful healthy boy. Nine months after that I did everything in the book again and after 2 months of trying I got pregnant again and gave birth to another perfect little boy. I would recommend anyone with an open mind to read this book. It just might be the answer to your prayers.

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a set of physical and psychological symptoms that occur a few days before your period. Implantation symptoms, on the other hand, appear due to the implantation of a fertilized egg in your womb. Both PMS and implantation can happen around the same time in your menstrual cycle, so it can be difficult to tell the difference between them. This article will help you to identify the differences between the symptoms of PMS and the symptoms of implantation, using careful observation. Just see Step 1 below to get started

I have always loved Thai spicy food but when I was there, I just could not stand any food there!!! it could possibly be because i was pregnant and not because of the smell of the food... and that was at an early stage of my pregnancy
