with respect.

I am a Mother and I work everyday to provide for my child, the only one I can afford ;-) (ok, she is going to the best schools) so why should I contribute and sit with a problem of poor and Africa or otherwise poverty people having unprotected sex with multi partners, most don’t know their on fathers). Why don’t everyone talk of stopping reproduction and not constant help? In the end they might have an army of people.. everyday more are conceived. I think we must go to the root of the problem and start paying for sterilizations.. once a mother have one child then should be sterilized.. not having 10 kids which we must pay for?? Don’t you think I would like to have 20 my own kids? my mind and intelligent tells me I can afford it!!! Especially Aids people should not be allowed to have kids!!! What is your opinion on it? I will be the first to contribute $thousands to that course and let my daughter have a better life and she grows up. STOP REPRODUCTION!!!

you are right hossam, easier to squash BUGS!!

I lived in Africa for 25 years. Go and live there that long see what I have seen.. and what I tried to do.. the SPEAK!! I tried to help, worked with people with AIDS, had AIDS children in my hands, loved them etc.. they did not ask to be born.. however the problem still exists.. more poor children are being born into HORRID situtations.. Pleople tend to kind behind religions, behind what is right or not!! problem is there ane eventuallu it will get to your on home.

Anyone who attacked me: Did you have AIDS child or children in your hand? did you shake people who have AIDS hands and show that you not scared (and inside wnat to run).. did you have AIDS test done and drugs to prevet AIDS after delivering a child (full of blood) and forgeting about existance of AIDS for those few seconds??

WELL, I did. I helped. I know what those poor people ask for. They ofnet dont want more children. Women often are raped> what do you say to THAT??

Did you also know that the BUSH ADMINISTRATION is actually refusing to fund any programs in Africa that promote PLANNED PARENTHOOD or things like CONTRACEPTION or any program that includes CONDOMS for both pregnancy prevention as well as AIDS protection? His religeous-right fanatical bible-thumping moron CASH-COW supporters are very happy with him on this, GOD FORBID we teach those people to have safe-sex or to consider ABORTION of those unplanned pregnancies!!! Hey, I cant agree with you more on this, but then again.....I didnt vote for him.

Unfortunately most of the problem is caused by cultural beliefs and not enough education. It's a very strong priority in many parts of the world to have a lot of children (mostly male) to help grow crops and "spread the seed". Also, many people can't afford birth control or don't know that it exists or how to use it.

I think what someone wants to do with their life is their own decision...you cannot sterelize people against their will...if they choose to have millions of children, with AIDS, so be it...but I wouldn't pay a dime to help them take care of it...2 years ago for my 8th grade project, I did something similar to this. Alot of people don't know about diseases and such....but the ones who do, I have no pity for them. Pay to educate all of the poor, that way they know what they are doing....after that, it's up to them...

Everyone stop reproducing in Africa? Yeah, that's realistic. That is a band-aid solution anyway. People would still be dying of poverty and AIDS.

you can't go and sterilize people you don't have the right to do such thing! they are human beings like you. Your problem is that you think about poor people as u think about bugs you want to eradicate them.
The solution is not easy and it is so human that you can't afford.
Instead of paying your money to sterilization, pay it to educate them to give them the way to get out of the (poverty-ignorance-sickness) seige

The main problem is the pope!

He does not accept condoms - and he does not accept sex before marriage, so all related problems are denied totally.

It's a whole different world out there. So unlike our own, so many things we don't always see or understand. Things aren't always as simple, as we like them to be.
