Both. Although I've heard the producers of Family Guy hate the producers of the Simpsons - and lately, after Family Guy came out, the Simpsons have been doing quite a bit more satire. It's interesting and odd at the same time.

I was born Dec. 15, 1989... Two days later the first episode of the Simpsons aired. I've been hooked ever since... People who say that family guy is better than the simpsons are just looking for cheap laughs. The storylines of the simpsons hit on so many levels... Not just crude fart jokes... Not that that is totally bad... but it will never even compare to the simpsons...

Love em both but will have to go will the grandaddy Simpsons. I can watch them with my kids. Family Guy is not a good show to watch with the young ones. Too much violence and sex on tv

well family makes you roll on the floor from laughter but the simpsons is a classic...but its a VERY close decision
