Lots of aloe vera. Next time you are in a tanning bed, try opting for one that is set on a timer to turn off when you are done.

Take it from an expert I have gotten sun burned suntanned and everythindg else in between first thing you must remember is to never peel the dead skin even if it looks like it is ready to peel never do it. Secondly only thing you should put on your face is a tile with no soap use cool water. Thirdly (if that is a word) go to your doctor he may have some health tips for you. Last but not least never fallasleep in the tanning bed ever again.

bath in cool green tea. It helps reduce inflammation and is an antioxident too. Get some green tea bags (10 plus), brew it in hot water for 10 minutes then add to a cool bathtub - soak in it. Then get some high quality aloe vera extract and apply afterwards and often during the day. Vitamin E lotion is good for hydrating too. Drink alot of water (6-8 glasses a day - a good idea anyway).

This won't get rid of the red but it will help take the burn away... take tea bags and make iced tea... what i did was made hot tea (because it makes faster) then i iced it. you will need a friend, boyfriend, husband here... but use some washcloths and place them in the iced tea... then lie down and lay them over the burned areas.... it will lift the hotness and if it's bad enough will actually steam... see what works for you. then apply aloe vera... good luck! keep it moisturized because that can stop the peeling but you might be destined to peel... sorry!

Ouch, that happend to me alot before. Lay on your bed face down and ask somebody to rub aloe vera gel on you for a while, it feels amazing and you feel a little better. Also baby powder so if you sweat, the clothes won't stick to your sunburn. As for covering the redness? Makeup I guess but that's obviously only for your face. Hope this helped :)

aloe vera aloe vera aloe vera- and a cold shower and put a cold washrag on the places where it burns the most- only shower one time while u have ur sunburn otherwise it will make ur peeling worse (when your skin peels-0 and it will!)
it also feels good if u stick your bottle of aloe vera in the frigde that way it soothes more when you put it on!

very cool baths....showers will probably have too much pressure...you've got to get the heat out of your skin....stay in the water as long as you can and as often as you can....cold packs for your face.
but your skin is going to dry like its never done before..find the heaviest cream you can and slather it on....wear light colored loose clothing and no bra if you can get away with it.

if you were in a tanning bed at a place of business, sue their pants off, they're only allowed to let you in for 20 minutes in most states, by law.
if you were in your own tanning bed or a private one or outside, learn from this and don't do it again
also tanning and skin cancer and wrinkles go hand in hand, so tan sparingly. (i love to tan outside, but i do it as a treat, not as a beauty routine - i know i'm playing roullette with cancer, but i'm willing to take the risk). as long as you know its a risk, that's fine, take however much of a risk as you want to, just be ready to pay for the consequences.

Well you can't do much about the red marks. But to soothe your skin, I recommend using Noxima skin lotion, it has aloevira. And REMEMBER, one sunburn in your entire lifetime can give you skin cancer, along with prolonged tanning! Be more careful next time!!
