It incorporates Final Fantasy with Disney. A collaboration like this doesn't happen too often. I've never been a fan of either myself, but I do like to see these kind of deals, i.e., a Halo SPARTAN in Dead or Alive.

It's an awesome game. Don't be fooled by the premise: A bunch of Square-Enix characters and a bunch of Disney characters, saving the world.
It's bright, it's colourful, but it's NOT just a kid's game. It's deep, and meaningful and it's about love, loyalty and doing the right thing, even when you feel you can't go on. There's a lot of darkness in the plot.
I do recommend buying Kingdom Hearts 1 first, and playing through that. The plot is very important and the sequel assumes you've played the first one.
Enjoy!

They're hardcore fans. They might love Final Fantasy, they might love Disney, or they might love both, which intensifies the positiveness... Maybe they just love the music. Or the graphics. Some people just get in it because of the Disney. Other people just want to see the story.
Maybe the cover-up over the intense button mashing is working. Sure, there's lots fo cool moves Sora can do, like jump into the air and jump down on an enemy! Or flying/hovering in the air by repeatedly mashing the X button on an enemy! I really think that giving the button mashing "cool moves" really pulls them in. The game's styrangely addict you... I think it's the urge to finish the game. They might also like the button mashing during the Gummi Ship missions.
The BEST reason to buy the game is because of the cutscenes. The cutscenes make the story MUCH more dramatic rather than just searching the spoilers over the internet. I, for one, rented the game just to see what happens to Sora and the game. he story is okay, but there's WAY too much filler.

We enjoy it so much because we enjoy video games for what they were meant to be. We like the storys, the re-play value, the unprecedented value of worth of the game, and the ability to keep playing it after we've finished the storyline. There are minigames to beat and boast about. There are the Gummi Ship battles, which for the most part are just a fun way of wasting time. Then there is the Sephiroth battle, and the challenge to get ALL the keyblades. I did so finally after 6 months of playing, beat Sephiroth at level 91 on the Hard mode, and want to keep playing to get to level 99 so I can kill the last boss in like 3 minutes. That, and the endings to these games really have no equal. Who needs a reason to buy a game from a franchise they love? If you liked the first game, rent this one. If you loved it, buy this game. If you hated it, then why are you asking us this question? The only reason I bought this game was so that I could prove to my friends that I could beat the game in less than a day, on Normal mode, and beat it I did. 22:58 was my total time, at level 82. Then they asked me to beat it on Hard, which I did, in LESS time. About 20:48. It was surprising really. I loved the game, and so do many, many other people. Instead of asking questions like 'Did you like it so I can base my opinions about it?', you should ask things like 'Did the game surpass or decline the first game?' or things like 'Who was the person who did such-and-such to so-and-so, and why should I buy this game to see so-and-so...' and so on. My rantings done.
In short, we loved this game. Others didn't. Make your own decisions.

It has delightful graphics and a good storyline. I love Final Fantasy and Disney is pretty good too. But as a gamer, I like the game because there is alot more to do than just go through the story line. It has alot of side games to keep you playing. It's definately a game that is worth the money. You can definately get your moneys worth in play time, and nothing is more irritating than a game you spend $50 just to have it beat in 4 hours.

its an amazing game. You have to play the first one tho to get the story. The creators have mangaed to mix Final Fantasy and Disney and they've made it work. The gameplay is great and fun, the story is great, and you go to all kinds of different worlds fighting alongside Donald and Goofy. If you own a PS2 u need to own these games.

Particularly, I like games with comic characters, specially if those characters are Donald or goofy or mickey mouse. Besides, the game has some kind of action unusual in video games.
It has an excellent plot

Because the characters are designed by Tetsuya Nomura, creator of FF7,FF8,PE,PE2 alota stuff, and the director of FF7 AdventC. He is the game director and, he has a vision in hw the game should be played and yea, he is a pro in this field. I find the game fun too.

It has an awesome and smooth story line, good graphics. Lovable characters. Plus it has Disney, we all love it but hate to admit it. KH2 gives us a reason to. And it incorporates the best FF characters.
