Sketchers were in fashion, because baby spice (emma bunton) was seen wearing them.

I'm sure they had a range made up for each singer of the spice girl band.

I also remember a trainer called Ellesse, they were a plain off-white colour called ecru with the green and orange semi circle symbol in the middle of the shoe.

Depends on age but most kids went for the ones that had the flashy lights when you walk.
