I say none of those make the best soccer shoes/cleats. Most people are influenced by marketing and the players nike and adidas sponsor for example Cristiano nike signing and being told to wear Mercurial vapors on the other hand Lionel Messi signed by adidas and told to wear their Adizero range. Honestly both brands produce good products but on their Top end soccer boots they fail on durability. Many of both nike and adidas boots tend to separte the upper from the soleplate really fast which is disappointing for such expensive product. To me Puma have made much better quality boots then nike or adidas, sometimes Puma boots may not be as impressive as nike or adidas but end up being a more solid soccer boots. I've used Puma v1.08, v1.10, v1.11, evo speed and lately Puma powercats all those shoes end up being so long lasting I still use them. I would encouraged you to try something else besides nike and adidas you will get surprised by Puma. I suggest you trying Puma Evospeed K-leather or Puma PowerCat 1.12

Personal choice because they fit different. Nikes work much better for me - not as a football shoe, but as a general shoe, period. Being female, I've never had to buy a football shoe, even though there've been a few b...s I'd have liked to kick!

Nike is the best shoe made today - but you may also want to consider looking at the new Under Armour cleats and shoes.

Nike, even thoue adidas bought RBK, thats what i used to wear, i have like Nike's stuff for a while, its more advanced. i moved to nike's the last 3 years i played ( i played midget, jr high, jv, high school and college)

my sister bought some expensive nikes last year and then she bought some cheap adidas cleats, she says she likes the adidas better, they are more comfortable and better to play and i personally like adidas better
