Isnt Button in the BAR, whose team founder has gone to the top in every venue he has entered? And didn't BAR just get big time bought into by Honda and will become Team Honda? And didn't Honda win the F1 championship six or seven years in a row and then quit F1 after Honda died, and then the engineers all went to Ferrari and they won for seven years or more? And hasn't Honda done well in CART and IRL? Yes. He will win.

I think he will. Maybe even with Honda, but to do that, he will have to work with Barrichello closely. Barrichello has the experience, and Button has the knowledge of the car. If they help each other out enough, a win is quite possible.

As for getting a better car, that doesnt seem likely in the near future. All of the top teams (Ferrari, McClaren, Renault, etc.) are firmly set on their drivers.

I think he will but not this season. He needs a reliable team because Honda have let him down too much. There has been silly little faults and some major faults in every race he has.

Go on Jenson. Keep the faith.

Certainly not this season. I had high hopes for him a year or two ago, even at the beginning of the current season, but, both Jenson and his Honda seem to be `off the boil' at the moment and it seems Rubens Barrichello may have edged ahead of him recently, when it comes to performance.

Yes but in another 2 years or so if he stays at Honda
, if he drove a Mclaren, Farrarhi of Renualt he would have been on the top of the podium already.
The car is the problem not the driver, he has had a Monkey on his back lately reliability wise otherwise he would be scoring alot more podiums.

Give the guy some credit- he's an excellent driver, he just hasn't had a reliable car!
The way things have been going this week in testing I think if he doesn't have any reliability problems he has a very very strong chance of a podium finish in France

Only if all the drivers ahead of him quit which is highly unlikely.ROFLMAO.
Seriously though I very much doubt if he will win a GP this year.He seems to talk the talk but haven't seen him walk the walk yet.Seems to be a middle of the pack driver to me so I can't understand all the hype surrounding him.DC is a better class of driver than him.But thats only my opinion.

yep, i reckon he'll be a world champ within 5 years. Maybe even with honda. Honda have a proven record in motor sport and now they know they are underachieving and are ringing the changes they could take off.
