I plan on moving out on my own soon or with my boyfriend before i have another baby(for missqueen123). I don't mind paying her it's just that most people have said that is too much to be paying her and she is my mother and i forgot to state this the only reason she went up is because i got a new job making more money, she really doesn't need my help everyone says she is money hungry

No, if you are eating her groceries, lights, electricity, water, and having a space of your own, I do not think that is bad. Now if you are living in a roach invested place, with no food, bad water, and no lights, then you need to renegotiate the price.

Good Luck!

No, I would charge more! I guess I'm really mean! Actually do some simple math, see what apartments go for in your area, add up your car gas for a month, see how much your mom pays for electricity/water/ and an estimate of what you eat in a month add 150.00 for the emergencies..they will happen. You are getting a DEAL! Give her the 500.00 and thank her!

Not if you are over 18.You might want to look for an apartment of your own though.

If you are under 18 you shouldnt be paying rent at all(unless you dropped out of school)

It all depends on the space you are renting. If you have your own bedroom, and you get to use the kitchen and bathroom then yeah 500 is about right.

Nope, you would find it hard to get your own place for that much. If it bothers you though then start looking to move out and see if you can make it on your own for that much.

Come on now, that's cheap, plus it's her house:her rules.Especially if you're old enough to take care of yourself. Nothing in this life is free...
