Hurting yourself physically and emoitonally is just a way to let your pain out. I think you have a strong but sensitive personality.
Love is kind and fair. If the boy pick you, what can your best friend do? We shouldn't put the blame on others for not being loved. If she's a real friend, she will want you to be happy.
My suggestion is think of yourself, your happiness and your inner virtues. You're valuable and treasurable to friends, family, your teachers and people who truly love you. And here at Yahoo Answers, those who're reading and trying to solve your question.
Good luck and be good, gal!

I Suggest you doing something that you like or enjoy doing. Instead of cutting yourself. People may seem that they dont care about you and all but in the long run they really do care. Just think if you were dead the next morining people would be crying and your friend would care too even though she's really upset. She cares. Like hang out with your friends , go shopping that sorta thing . I understand that you dont have the money right now. I helped somebody with this problem and I saved their life and i made them stop cutting their self. Cause the girl realized what harm she is doing to herself. So, Please dont cut yourself. I think that you should've told your teacher cause she would help you in anyway she can and she would get you help that you need to stop you from cutting yourself.

Well, discuss this with your parents. Or let your feelings out in a diary, journal, or blog if you need to. You might also want to ask your crush to tell your so-called "best friend" to stop being mean to you just because of a stupid reason (I'm not sure you want to tell your crush that you like him yet). If your best friend ignores that plea, just ignore her. If your best friend, after a while of hating you, says sorry, I think you should NOT forgive her. Just ignore her. She knows your depressed and that she's the main source of your pain. She seems to have had plenty of time to comprehend that.
Wow, you must be really depressed. Well, if you want something to live for, think fop it. There's music, the PS3, maybe an iod or a cellphone, or... I don't know. Maybe more summer vacations too?

Depending on where you live, there should be a government office to provide referrals for free services. You can start by calling an anonymous help line (usually found in the phone book) or by contacting someone at school if they are still in the office. Also, if you have understanding parents, they can be your best resource.
Cutting is serious so you shouldn't worry about keeping your problems secret. Depression is not something to be embarrassed about, almost everyone deals with it at some point in their lives.
Please contact someone to help you. If you can post what state you live in I can find some phone numbers for services for you. Good luck.

Well it is hard to stop cutting because it's an addiction. It takes a lot of strength to overcome.
You need to find an adult to talk to: parents, a teacher, your guidance counselor, the youth minister at your church--someone you trust who will have your best interests at heart.
The good news is that you realize you have a problem and you want to stop.
Think about why you're cutting. Is it a way of getting revenge on your friend, trying to make her feel guilty because she drove you to cutting? If you let her affect you like that, you're not winning. The way to "win" would be to NOT let her get to you, to be strong enough to ignore her apparent dislike for you. Don't let your friend have power over you. Surround yourself with other, truer friends.
And please, next time you get the urge to cut, ask yourself this: does it really solve your problems? Is it really getting you what you want? And remember, make your own decisions based on what's best for you. Every time you choose not to cut, you're winning a battle by not letting your friend influence you. Be strong; you will be proud of yourself and I will be proud of you.

You don't have to have money to get the help you know that you need. The very first thing you need to do is tell your parents and ask them to get help for you. There are places all over the US that specialize in exactly your problem. Leave the details to your parents. Just tell them the truth and they will help you. You are an individual who is worth more than you are giving yourself credit for. There are a lot of people who care about you. Let them help you. Good luck, Sweetie.

Stop doing it - get into a support group for cutters like yourself - maybe understanding why people do this to themselves (including you) - you need to talk to your parents. If you can't do that or they are part of the reason that you are cutting yourself, then you should talk to a teacher or another relative. Get yourself help, honey! You are worth more than that and you have so much more to look forward to in life, believe me! I felt depressed at your age too -- it gets better! Good luck!

My sister was a straight-A student and cut herself in secret for almost a year. It was a cry for help, and no one noticed for that long. You acknowledge you need help, which is a good start. Explore your reasons and seek the counsel of someone you trust. This hurt is too large to carry alone. If you're a student, there should be resources for counseling through your school! Check in the library for information. You can also talk to a preacher or person at any church for help. Please get help!!!!!

Okay, I know how you feel, because I used to cut myself. What you do, is you put a rubber band or hair-tie around one or both of your wrists, and when you feel like cutting, you "pop" it, or pull it and let go so it can smack your wrist. Also, talk to someone about it. If you don't feel comfortable talking to your parents, try a teacher or other close relatives. You'll get better. Good luck!
