The weather will still be warm (hot for those not from the area), probably 90-100 degrees. The Diamondbacks will still be playing in September so catching a baseball game is always fun. Also, you can check out Taliesin West by Frank Lloyd Wright in Scottsdale. If you like checking out galleries old town Scottsdale has a bunch. For hiking you can check out Camelback Mountain or South Mountain park. Both give great views of the city and the top of South Mountain is neat at sunset. ASU football will have started so if they are in town that is an idea, as well as checking out a Cardinal's football game in their brand new stadium in Glendale! You could also visit one of the lakes in the Phoenix area, such as Saguaro Lake or Roosevelt Lake. Those are fun for a BBQ or renting a boat for the day. The possibilities are endless...there is a lot to do in Phoenix!

You will be able to start going outside without dying of heat stroke. The place really starts getting pretty and hiking up some of the mountains around here is cool (Camelback, South Mountain, etc.)

It's still kind of hot, however you can shop at the malls, visit the world wildlife zoo, visit the different parks, drive up to the Grand Canyon & Sedona.

Plenty of places to hike, we have hockey to watch, maybe baseball(lol). All sorts of indoor and outdoor activities. The weather is just getting awesome in Sept.
