Yes, as a matter of fact I was married in a penitentiary, and subsequently had approximately thirty 'trailer' visits(Canadian term). I ended up divorcing my wife twelve years later, but ended up with two beautiful kids as a result of our visits. My experience is that it is very tough to have a healthy successful relationship in these circumstances, great sex though!

Someone I know who has been in prison says to tell you that unless you're married to the guy don't expect it to be more than what it is. Just sex. The guy does need a connection to the outside world, to remind him he's human. But 95 percent of these visits mean very little to the prisoner other than just plain sex and something to talk about back inside. You know that you will be strip searched before you go in? Just don't go expecting this to be a symbol of everlasting love and committment. It's not likely to turn out that way. They'll say anything they think you want to hear to get you to agree to this. Don't fall for it.
