Some people that use this site don't use enlish as primary language(like me) and it's hard to know all this grammar stuff! Really! Whatever! As for those who use english as primary language...i dunno....maybe they're in a hurry, maybe they're illiterate...but you can't judge them for the way they write grammatically speaking. You should judge their ideas 'cause some of them have native intelligence(that's a very rare thing at illiterate people). I hope this is the answer you're looking for. C ya! :)

It has not been my experience that this is true...'most' indicates a preponderence of illiteracy... However, there does seem to be many who feel the need to contribute, yet either have poor writing skills or are too busy to do a better job... Too bad really, some of these individuals seem to have very interesting points of view, but it's difficult to make out all that they're 'saying'...!

People no longer care about how they are presenting themselves. As far as I'm concerned, if you "can't take the time" to spell correctly, or use proper grammar, I won't take the time to try and decipher what it is that you're saying. "It's just the internet" is a crappy argument, and I weep for our future.
Damn kids...get off my lawn!

You mean your spelling in foreign languages is always correct??? Because you know, the majority in here doesn't come from England or the US!

I've pondered that question myself....combination of very young people, quick messy typists, foreign language background, or just plain good old-fashioned dumb people..........haha Thomas Jefferson wasn't exactly a stellar speller, either! At least he had grammar skills though.....
